This is where the journey begins...
“Everyone has their “niche”, but not me. I was never able to find where I fit in as a child, until music hit my life like a free-falling rocket. I’ve been humming along to words since before I could talk, but it wasn’t until my first major debut (other than dance recitals) in third grade that I realized that the stage was where I needed to be.
I had been writing music all year in third grade, but I’d never let anyone hear it. It was embarrassing to me, knowing that there was no chance a small town girl like me could ever be “famous”. One day, though, my music teacher decided to hold tryouts for a small musical called “I Need a Vacation!”. I thought, “Why not? You only live once,” and I tried out for the only singing and acting role. I was quickly informed afterwards that I had scored the role, and I couldn’t have been happier.
